I do not think that school is teaching me the skills needed to be successful in life. My main reason for this is especially in math. I believe that all you need to know is basic math like addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division. I think this because algebra is basically pointless unless you are going to be an architecture designer or something because no one is going to come up to you in real life and ask 'what is 5 squared times 3x divided by 2?" That is why because those aren't going to be important or help you succeed in life.
Another reason is because of history. I don't understand how knowing what happened in the past is so important and will help you succeed in the future. History will not really get you anywhere in life if you are not into it and want to be teacher or history researcher. In my opinion, history is kind of a waste of time because we could be learning skills or start subjects that maybe we would want to do in the real world to help us be successful.
